What this site collects when you call or send the form, and who receives it.
What Is Collected
When you submit the contact form, the site receives what you typed: your name, phone number, email address, the address of the house, the area and job you picked, and your message. It also records the page you sent it from and your browser's time zone, which helps a contractor call at a sensible hour.
When you call the number on this site, the call may be routed through a tracking number and may be recorded. The phone system logs your number and the time and length of the call.
Like most websites, the server keeps standard logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, and Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits. Visits are also grouped into an audience of past readers of this site, which its operator may use to show those readers ads for home-services help on Google and, once switched on, on Facebook and Instagram. To opt out: block cookies in your browser, use adssettings.google.com and Meta's ad preferences page, or, if you are in a state with an opt-out right for targeted advertising, say so through the contact form.
Who Receives It
Your request is shared with an independent roofing or siding contractor so that company can contact you about the job. That is the purpose of the site, and submitting the form or calling is your agreement to it.
Your details are also handled by the companies that run the form, phone and hosting systems for this site. They are not sold to marketing lists.
The contractor that receives your request is a separate business with its own privacy practices.
Your Choices
You can ask for your request to be deleted or corrected by calling the number on this site and saying so. You can decline calls or texts at any time by telling the caller or replying STOP to a text.
This site is meant for adults who own or manage a home. It is not directed at children.
